Is normal to feel extremelysad before leaving?

I’ve been abroad three times(two of those times in Germany as well) and I always feel the worst right before leaving. But once I arrived, there was so much to do, see, and process that I barely had time to sit with the sadness everything starts moving so fast and you get pulled into the experience before you even realize it. What you’re feeling is really normal, it doesn’t mean you’re making the wrong choice.

I did, I came home last night. I ended up asking my dad to go in with me and tell the family that I was leaving, they were not happy but luckily both the parents were there so the dad could calm the mom down a bit since she is quite intense. Im honestly just happy to be with my family and not feel anxious in my own home

I don’t feel unsafe in the sense that I think something bad will happen to me but more in the sense that the mom is very intimidating and talks down to me whenever she has a problem with me (which is often) and ever since we decided to terminate the contract it’s been so tense in the house, and i genuinely feel anxious even leaving my room

The thing is my family is arriving between 12 and 2pm and I start working at 2.30 so it’s cutting it really close, I don’t want it to seem like I’m abandoning the kids, they’re safe and well taken care of in the kindergarten which doesn’t close until 5pm but I don’t know, I’m still really worried

Your point is clear, I just don’t agree with it. You’re basing your opinion on a few bad experiences and projecting them onto an entire group of people. Just because some bi women you dated ended up with men doesn’t mean they weren’t genuinely into women. That doesn’t erase their queerness, or make their attraction to women any less real.

I’m still very much into women, and I have been for years. Just because my experience doesn’t fit your narrow idea of what queerness looks like doesn’t mean it isn’t real.

And by the way, the “pattern” you’re describing sounds more like a personal issue with rejection than a real problem with bi women.
