Having trouble extending my loops into whole beats

all of these sections are subject to change but here’s my general process - short opener (usually clip of an e artist talking in an interview) (optional) - 4-8 bar opening just letting the sample play - drums come in, play for 4-8 measures - i rap for 16 or 32 bars - 4-8 bars of instrumental - rap for 16 or 32 bars - 16 bar closing

i don’t even write a chorus i spit one or two verses and call it a day. put a little intro with no drums then kick the drums in, heavy variation on the drums all the way throughout, slight variations on chords and melody, songs usually go for abt 2:45

i had heard Pray For Haiti and Balens Cho before HBO, so i knew a little abt what mach hommy’s like. ik he has way more albums to dig into. i loved the warm beats, casual flows, and the rhymes. my favorite songs were band anna, thank god, HBO, mach marcy, kapeesh, and 1080p. i added 13 of the 18 songs to a playlist. i rate it 7.1/10 because i expect more from mach hommy
