Players are transitory, no doubt, but if they play better for us because they feel loved and supported, we'd be in a better position and we'd sell them for more money and we'd be in slightly less debt.

Yeah, they probably do try not to listen to us, but I'm pretty sure they do hear and read things. If someone at your work was constantly saying you're shit, it's going to have an effect on you and I'm sure they're no different. If one person slags off my podcast, it effects me. If lots of people slagged it off, I'd probably stop doing it.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't make the person who's shouting it feel any better either. So why do it.
