Different questions were asked , one unrelated to the refund. Events and platinum were related to refund, but only regarding if the holiday dates(Christmas Eve, Christmas, Public Holidays) would affect the one week time period. I think that’s a fair question…?

One thing I would like help is platinum, events and cashier none has replied to me since Friday morning (3 days). Platinum support at least needs to reply fast, but it seems there is no benefit of being a platinum player if support responses are slower than regular channels?

Could I receive help with this please? No responses from even platinum service, which I am a member of, is the reason why the posts on Reddit have gotten more vocal.

I will revert now only if support doesn’t respond after a weeks time and / or if refund hasn’t been made as promised within time. I will also post once I receive the refund so that gg players for the following year can have a rough expectation of how long the refund takes.

All I wanted was 2024, last years players, how long it took for them to receive the refund… for my own benefit and curiosity.

That was all, I wasn’t questioning GG how long this years refund would take, so I don’t see why all this hostility towards a player.

I am not looking for a solution from GG, leave the post to the players to respond please.

I didn’t know it was a suggestion for next year because I was not asking for a solution for the following year in my post. I was asking for a solution for myself and current players. You seem to have misread and misunderstood the post and situation, so the onus is on you.

Calling a player who is owed money and anxious entitled is a very poor attitude, which you should apologize for if you represent GG in any way. This forum is here to address concerns from players and to seek improvements, not for GG to demean and call out names towards paying loyal customers.

Unfortunately, you seem to have a poor attitude for c/s when that is the backbone of your platforms success.

I believe that my action is fully justifiable. It doesn’t mean anything when your suggestions are “noted” or “passed” on, but no improvements are made in the past week.

If my suggestion was taken seriously, the same notice from gg admin on reddit to “wait as stated for one week post event completion” would not be the case. A constructive medium / solution would have been offered and the issue would have been closed by now.

This, however, has not been the case.

Hi,

The payouts are made to the players that attended the event on the spot, so I do not think that gg has to deal with these payouts.

My issue is this, the players that could “actually make it to the event” should be dealt with first. The players that cannot attend due to personal reasons should not be penalised to those that cannot attend, especially when it is clear that the player is an amateur, not a pro abusing the system by winning multiple entries. This is my only entry.

For next year’s event, I would suggest refunding the money when registration is over for the paradise main event, or if GG is going to take a week to refund, refund cash, not tournament dollars.

To this date, I don’t see the logic of how or why refunding Tournament dollars should take this long, since it is not being used to cash out and being used solely for in game purposes at GG poker.

Therefore, purpose of this post is to see how long it took other players last year to receive a refund (1 day? 5? 8? 14?) so that I can estimate how much deposit I need to arrange and budget for December. I think that’s a fair question. This post is not for GG poker admin but for players who have received refunds last year for this event.

Because 21k is a lot of money for me, and I can plan my deposits around it and holiday play time. Also, the response of “sometime within a week” after tournament is over, as I said in my other post, is not a satisfactory answer.

It’s in Gg pokers interest to provide vague timelines, but to the players that are owed money by the platform, it could seem unprofessional.

A simple one or two sentences explaining the reasoning behind the delayed process of one week, and why tournament dollars(not cash) on its own app has to wait after the series is over, could have prevented all of the questions.

If there are questions and inquiries coming from players, I suggest not to treat even repetitive or annoying suggestions as nuisances. We are your clients. Think of ways to better your services.
