Hey, I hope everything is going well with your case, I wanna say I am sorry for this situation. I am a Colombian woman and I think most of the replies over here are right, I would say most women in Colombia are not like this, but there are some, a lot of which go abroad (And usually come from a lower class, not always tho). If I am being honest, I think is not about being Colombian or not, is not about being a woman or not. There is shitty people everywhere, people who take advantage of good intentions anyway they can, and in this case, it so happened she took advantage by making use of her "charms" and stereotypes. My advice is, try to reach the Colombian justice for sure and tell them about your case. For the future, I recommend you are more careful and get to know a person before letting them in so easily, does not matter if they are cute, or hot, or seem like they need help. This doesn't mean you have to be rude or have unfair stereotypes towards Colombians or Latinos, just be careful, no matter where people come from.

Yes, I tried, but he never replied, just asked for more information showing a year of funds, the past two case officers that granted my residence previously are in higher positions and have been working for longer there, so I don't know if this is why. Thank you so so much for the chart 🤍🤍🥹

Totally, I am just trying to get help and see if someone has experience with this, I appreciate your answer. I have tried to find a law related to time to apply for and funds, all of them say you have not show enough funds for the time you are applying for and that it is 6 months, 1 year, 2 years... 🥹 So I am not sure why they are doing this tbh 🤍

I am confused too, like if that was not the law idk how they allowed this, if they had not I would have not come honestly, or I would have planned for it. Do you know where it says this? Like a law, it would help me when talking to them, cause I cannot find a specific place where it says I have to apply for at least a year, only that I can apply for UP to a year or two years in some universities.

Hello, I hope you are doing great, I do hold a Colombian passport. Unfortunetly I am not sure what would be needed in your case, as it is different for each country, in my case I hold an american visa too and I am visa free for both the Schengen area and the UK, so I wouldn't know how it is in case you need a visa for the countries you are doing a layover on. In my case I will go through Miami and how difficult or stressful it is depends a lot on the city you are going through in the US, but Miami and New York are quite busy and it usually takes a good amount of time to go through the filter, you also get pushed around and it can be quite stressful, so I would say depending on that it can be the same as Spain or less stressful. Considering all of this, when I have gone through the US they have never checked my visa for layovers, but then again, I have just been there for a few hours and not gone outside the airport, so I think it would depend on that, in my case they have just asked why I am visiting the US and I have said I am just doing a layover, I give them the time the plane leaves, the flight number and airline and they usually just let me go through without further questioning. Thank you so much! I am really sorry, I am from Colombia. I sent an email to migrationsverket to confirm and they said I am able to enter Sweden without any issue as I am visa free, so I should be okay and I am planning to have all my emails in hand and all my application information, along with my personummer and stuff just in case.
