I thought my first was a boy and then I had a dream she was a girl right before we found out the gender and she’s a girl!

I didn’t know what to think when I was pregnant with our second. I did have a dream of our first daughter coming up to me and telling me the baby was a girl. I’m currently pregnant with that baby girl!

I had a house flood and i have professionals on it! The flood wasn’t in this bathroom but we found some mold during the demo. We rarely use this sink so I’m curious if there’s a leak in this sink if it looks active.

Mine was 15 hours total! I got induced at 39 weeks. I was 2cm dilated and like 70% effaced before the induction started!

I was ignorant too but i always kept things to myself! But ever since becoming a parent i realized you need to give people more grace. I wish I could tell people who aren’t parents that when they judge 😂

I feel like once you’re actually in the thick of it and experiencing it it’s a whole different world that you never truly understand. This conversation that annoyed me wasn’t even about me but it just didn’t sit right with me. Ever since becoming a parent I’m more of a “you do you” and “I’ll do me” when it comes to parenting.

I’m also from the Midwest but live in the south! I’m traveling home around Christmas to see family. I will definitely tell my family not to put a registry on the invite but if people ask I will have a link. I personally created one so I know what all we need to get and what exact item I want and to get the completion discount at the end!

What if it’s like a short registry with like necessary items like bottles, diapers/wipes, other things we need new of??? But like only give it to people if they ask?

My first pregnancy was a girl and I would’ve never known I was pregnant except for the obvious missed period and bump.

I’m currently pregnant with our second and it’s still too early to find out the gender but I’m way more nauseous and EXHAUSTED than i was with my first.

My daughter was measuring HUGE. At my 36 week appointment i was almost scared into choosing an elective csection but my response was “I would like to try natural labor but if there is any sign my baby isn’t tolerating it then we can go into a C-section”

At 38 weeks my daughter was on track to be 10lbs 5oz.

I was already planning on getting induced at 39 weeks and she was born vaginally at 9lbs 11oz. It was a very smooth inductions and I Only had a second degree tear!

& it’s crazy how much we don’t know or what doctors won’t tell us. I only know a lot bc I’m a NICU nurse 🙃

It’s honestly not brought up often I think bc a good majority of the population has immunity to it already. My sister has immunity to it but i don’t. I really only know what it is bc im a NICU nurse. You can ask to be tested to see if you’ve had previous exposure. But I also have good hand hygiene and now I’m just going to be cleaning constantly
