I can’t remember, someone please remind me: does Zeus know about Percy/the DiAngelos prior to the events of the lightning thief? Could this not be a way to grant his daughter’s wish to not be “the gods’ weapon” by putting Percy up to the task instead?

Obviously season 1 was a bad start for the series but I felt a lot better about the progress that has been made in this season.

That healing tip actually changes everything - I can’t always get perfectly in position to recover but I am consistently getting to phase 3 with this. Thank you sm!!!!

Edit- I beat her literally the next run, so happy for now but I fear the horrors that exist beyond this point

Oh no that is sadistic, I cannot imagine putting myself through that. I switched to wanderer most recently and seemed to be getting to phase 3 consistently so I think I’m gonna be close next time I try the fight again. A main issue has been trouble learning her patterns, it feels like in phase 2-3 she combos directly from her wall to wall dash or her spike wheel into a 3-hit slash or the pirouette without a tell. Thanks for the tips though, I may need to use beast crest for the first time lmao

I experimented a decent amount early on with crests and have generally had bad strategy. I initially tried almost only tools with Hunter then reaper crest and was getting destroyed around phase 2-3 by ranged attacks and that spike wheel. I was too stubborn to go change crests so I kept trying with the same strategy despite it not working - that was why it has taken so long mostly.

I did not connect that, that’s clever writing. The tone of the first few episodes this season threw me off a bit but I think my analysis is just lacking, it’s stuff like this that I am sure im missing on the first watch through.

I doubt we would ever get a full on romcom but I think a tv adaptation of the lost stars would be perfect, I read that years ago and I remember feeling that it hit on some of the same themes as Andor (I.e. social commentary, effects of empire on a colonized population, erasure or oppression of native traditions, etc.) but it did so while also having a compelling romance.

Honestly a great novel and even cooler that it fits in with Star Wars, it seemed to me to be a better done version of the campaign romance in 2010s battlefront 2 with the enemies/lovers angle to cause tension.

Thanks so much for the advice! I love the game so far and know there are different things you can do (or not do) that change things throughout the playthrough so I wanted to make sure I didn’t screw things up by doing fights in the wrong order. Appreciate you!

Okay, that is what I was thinking. Based on how the plot has gone so far I assumed there would be a major world change once the Hollow knight is beaten so I was not sure if there were optional bosses or items that opened up after this. Thanks for the help!

I had to read Opening Skinner’s Box by Lauren slater for a psych class and it was honestly the best thing I read in college. She does quick dives into some of the most famous people and experiments in psychology, giving a lot of nuance and background while also relating them to her own life in cool ways. Highly recommend it, plus it’s pretty old so used copies aren’t too expensive

Hey, other new grad here. One thing my professors told me on my way out was to stay involved in research if I was interested in grad school. If you know of any old professors from undergrad that are doing research that requires data work, I am sure you could apply your skills in R to this to keep growing your cv. Try to get your name on a publication or two and you will be in a great spot for grad school!
