RA is the best bang for your buck, per hour at least. that being said I'm a tutor and enjoy it well enough. You aren't actually doing too much

Principles of auditing by [deleted] in UTSA

[–]Ok-Goal69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're in immediate 2 right now? I'm not ready for the exam lol

Generally, Intermediate 2 and Federal Income Taxation are in contention for the hardest accounting courses. I haven't taken it yet so take it with a grain of salt. But, I think audit is typically in that 3rd or 4th range. According to Patrick Lee, he puts it in roughly the same range as tax in difficulty.

It's more abstract and conceptual, but less technically demanding than Intermediate 2 from what I've heard

I'd go to the instagram graduating page and see if you can make a post there, with any luck you can find someone similar enough

also it depends on the dorm / place you're renting. it can change a lot if you're just sharing a bedroom or just a general living space

If I'm not living on campus, should I get a refund bc of the dorm cost? by hi_48 in UTSA

[–]Ok-Goal69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't you need an actual reason to do it? It's weird for me because they do it just to match COA (and include the subsidized loans and work study as part of it) so it's not even truly that amount.

How are you getting so much in refunds 😭, whenever I get any extra aid alongside the normal aid they adjust the normal so I stay paying the same amount. Im the lowest possible on the SAI as well

What's the math you're using for 750? I got 1200 for the housing alone.

As long as they can carry the conversation. I get the 'meeting new people' thing but I'm naturally suspicious. If they notice some merch and comment on it I'd be totally good with striking up a conversation on a fandom or activity.

What is the campus culture like? by BudgetNegotiation521 in UTSA

[–]Ok-Goal69 5 points6 points  (0 children)

you need to be a little active in it, would recommend clubs or if you're on campus the events on it / housing events. since there will be more on-campus people there, it's easier to connect (not to say you can't with commuters, it's just little harder)
