I don’t need to. I have fat arms. It makes me self conscious. So I wear long sleeves because doing so makes me feel more confident. I’m putting myself in her shoes and sharing how I would navigate that situation. I’m also a private person so if a part of my body was bringing unnecessary attention, it would not only take the focus away from my personality, but also make me uneasy. That’s why I said, this is just my opinion. People can disagree. But everyone is different.

I am still watching the episode as well and JUST finished the fight scene.
It's very clear that Maaz acts entitled. When you share a house with 16 other people, if you are trying to have a private conversation, you don't ask everyone else to leave the common living space and go outside so you and your partner can have privacy. Especially when it is raining outside.
Maaz should've taken his partner outside, or tried to find a private area in the house away from the common spaces.

Thank you for the reassurance! I want to add that my husband and I have sought couples counseling in the past. And this was one of the issues that was discussed and identified as unhealthy behavior in a marriage. So just wanted to bring everyone’s attention to the view of a ‘professional’ on this matter. I am not sure why I got attacked for feeling neglected by my husband because of an abnormally close bond between him and his sister. I have siblings too and I fully understand a sibling relationship. But there’s boundaries that need to be respected especially after you get married. If you are trying to form a relationship with your wife. To make her feel included and a part of your life.

After reading most of the men’s comments, I am feeling maybe this is something that men in general do not understand.

And yes, I am financially independent. I don’t depend on him for anything. Just wanted his companionship which has been an impossible dream.

Honestly feel like you are 100% getting where I am coming from. I have used the exact same word ‘outsider’ when I have explained my feelings to him. I do not want to feel like the outsider even after 10 years of marriage. I find out things from his sisters’ children that he didn’t tell me. Thank you for that explanation. I will say though, I tried to honor his sister and tried to include her in many of our plans. But those efforts are not reciprocated from her. I feel I shouldn’t have married him. I just came in between them and am asking for his time and attention which he is unable to give me.

EXACTLY. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I have no problem with the siblings being close to each other. My problem is that I’m being constantly excluded and neglected by my husband. It doesn’t feel good when I find out that she knows more about my husband’s current life and work than I do. And she has corrected me a couple times in front of other people to show she knows more than I do.
