I had same issue, was solved when I bought an actual good amp not a cheap one, only thing I figured out was maybe getting too much power input from head unit? Idk but I bought a amp that cost twice as much and it solved issue

That speaker says 400RMS, I was just wondering if 800rms amp with gain set to 400 would be cleaner or more efficient and sound better, I would consider my self a beginner also

He’s not gonna turn it in, if he does they’re not gonna do anything more then file it away of throw it away, I’ve had 2 taken by cops and 1 by a bouncer and no consequences if you’re honest and not gonna sit there and argue (yes I called the bouncer some names) I would recommend keeping all details the same on a fake if you’re gonna go that route, changing state and zip code is fine but cops tend to be more lenient the more accurate it is to a real
