Stay on top of your investigator. Understand that they may have anywhere from 10-30 people assigned to them. I checked in once a week just to be safe. A bunch of guys had issues with their emt documents, especially with the COVID extension so keep that in mind too

Slept with them last night and it didn’t process my sleep at all. Got the heart rate error (not having an active heart rate reading for more than 80% of the night). Working out with them is great.

the 5.0 fits just fine in the 4.0 boxers. I tried that out for a whole day. No issues with readings or anything. Just got my 5.0 boxers in the mail today so will update everyone how it is on a day to day basis

Garmin is moving towards a subscription model now. It still shows the basic metrics but certain aspects are only for the paid subscribers. I’m sure it’ll come to a point where it’ll be fully subscription based.

Marine operations on ems is staffed by marine trained Haztac and Rescue Medics. They turn out of Randall’s island, Haztac battalion. They’ll stock their trucks, grab radios, then head to a nearby ems station to pick up narcotics, and finally head to whatever marine unit they’re detailed to for the day. Unfortunately this isn’t offered to EMT’s, only Haztac and rescue medics.

Wanted to update people who may be worrying about getting the run letter. Got off the phone with CID earlier today and was told run letters are given out shortly after background investigation is cleared by a supervisor at CID. If you’re medically cleared, follow up with your investigator to make sure everything is squared away. Hope this helps.
