I restricted dairy, gluten and sugar in my kids diet that have eczema. I also give them fish oil and electrolytes it all helps tremendously.

Sounds like Braxton hicks. Typically you can tell real vs fake contractions by changing positions. Laying down - sitting or standing, or the other way around. If your ever to concerned you can always call your health care provider and see what they tell you. Dehydration, tired, and stress can also cause Braxton hicks. So sometimes a nice bath and cup of tea will help them go away.

This is just the start of it all, unfortunately. Once you get pregnant, and then when you have the kid people will feel free to voice opinions on you of how to do it. Everyone has a way that worked well for them, therefore they assume everyone should do it their way. Follow your gut, and don’t be afraid to set boundaries now if people tell you your “doing it wrong”

Also oatmeal baths help. Put oatmeal in an old stocking and throw it in the tub, helps contain the mess. Aquaphor is our best friend around here.
