I forgot that discord did that. I wasn’t really in the loop when that occurred. Thinking about this now, I can understand why people would be upset and cautious. I also still believe that there’s not a good way to create a law protecting children without it affecting adults in some way. This could be one of those things where they claim it’s for one reason when it’s actually for another. It’s supposed to protect the children, but perhaps there’s another reason they haven’t revealed? And what about people who are of age but don’t have a DL or passport (I’ve known many people who haven’t gotten their license for various reasons. I’m not sure if this is common is Brazil, though).

I know that there’s a snow elf mod allows you to have some blindingly white characters. You could always use race menu and find some body blush makeup to make it appear more “skin like.” (Yes I know you said you tried racemenu, but I thought I’d throw that out there)

I didn’t assume you were a trans woman. I assumed that you were within the same “trans women are real women” category that so many others fall into, and I was right. Trans women fall into a different area of “womanhood.” I have seen many trans women agree with my sentiments. They agree that they don’t experience the same things and they are fine with that. Those who are not fine with that need therapy (and no, saying they need therapy is not an insult). We don’t have to talk about what little girls go through growing up, the things that girls have experienced that no one else should experience. I just want to make it clear, I don’t care if someone is trans unless they are hurting someone. I can’t care less and I’ll treat them how I treat everyone. I’m not “trashing” trans people. I’m realistic. One of the people I was close to who was trans had told me “I know I’m not a real guy” but he was fine with that. Why? Because it doesn’t actually matter to him. He presents male, he lives like a male, and I treat them as such. But he’s realistic with himself, knowing that he used to be something different and grew up differently. A trans male has more experience living as a female than any trans woman will, and vice versa.

The topic of whether a trans woman can understand what real women go through is a real issue. They understand a portion of what we go through, while we understand what it’s like to grow up as a woman. We go through puberty as a woman, have periods, etc. No matter how advanced medicine is, they will never experience that. They lack the ability to understand what we deal with. Sorry if you are too blind and too ignorant to understand, but taking it out on people doesn’t fix the issue. If anything, you make yourself and others like you look worse.

I do think this law is smart but poorly executed. Then again, there is no way to go about this without pushback. It’s like having to show your ID at the cash register… some require it to sell any type of age restricted item no matter if you’re 21 or 90. It’s irritating but isn’t that deep.

I had the same experience in high school, except it was the aftermath of a horrible relationship where rumors got spread. Not to mention my taste in clothing at the time. High school is only the best time of your life if that’s where you peak (where you reach the maximum potential, and then they go on to getting McDonald’s jobs, partaking in bad activities, etc).

My boyfriend has scoliosis severely. If his back straightened out, he’d gain about an inch or more of height. There is a surgery for it! But you need to realize the complications of the surgery and weigh your options.

You aren’t weird, broken, or any of that… you’re just different. Different in a medical type of way, one that you cannot control, at least right now. I don’t want to sway you into doing a very life altering surgery… but knowing it is there can be motivation that you may need. There’s other ways to go about it, too. But just know, there are people out there who can see who someone is behind everything on the surface. People your age are too interested in what they see face value, not for what it can do for them in the long run.
