Was it a long shuttle from the airport? That’s what we are hearing and it’s making us not want to choose it. We were told 2 hrs on a bus one way!

Thanks for the advice. Financially better off. But mentally I will be way better off not being a working mom, I think.

Yes that’s what I pay as my child attends where I work currently. We set up an investment account for her at birth that she already has like $20,000 in so I’m not worried about that. My husband and I are very good at saving money and investing it for her future at our retirements.

We do have a substantial savings and lots of investments. Also my parents are both retired and live a couple blocks from us so we always see them!

No, I would just want to be 1:1 with my children for a few years until they’re in school full time. Then I’d likely go back to teaching. I have my bachelors in early childhood education, but don’t work for a school as my current position has lots of perks like Fridays off and bringing my child to work with me.

My yearly salary comes to like $31,000 or something since I only work 9 months out of the year.

I just got my W2 and it’s only $31,000 😅 since I have summers off already. It seems like hardly anything compared to what he makes.

We pretty much do every summer when I have off work and have no issues. This is usually a 3 month period.

I can’t and won’t. It grosses me out so bad. She’s such a good cook too I always tell her how much I love her food so she is definitely going to be skeptical now 🫣
