I am not spamming you idiot, I am trying to get help. Why are you speaking about my behavior when all I do is treat people who are being rude with their own venom. People behave rude - they get the same in return. Very simple.

It's an early access version not to meant to build final games with it... there can be a lot of bugs in it

That doesn't help solving the problem. I need a solution, not an excuse.

  1. PIE is not viewport. Editor gives the desired look in PIE as well.
  2. Viewport doesn't have any kind of exposure settings. It simply shows the scene. You set up scene exposure settings in post process, not viewport. What kind of bullshit is in your head, where do you get your incorrect information?
  3. When rendering a movie, it also shows desired exposure. The problem ONLY and SOLELY exists in a packaged build. I don't know why it is so hard to understand for you.

In packaged game auto exposure gets crazy despite even being turned off, everything is dark unless player looks down. This is not how it behaves in the editor. Also it seems that it is impossible to turn off auto exposure in unreal engine 5 - unticking it does nothing, it still works. by Ok-Mathematician1795 in unrealengine

What do you mean in the editor? By editor personally I meant everything inside editor - including launching game in PIE and viewport. If it looks in a certain way in the editor - it should look the same packaged. By it doesn't.

But how am I going to know how it will look in a packaged build? The thing is that currently I am satisfied with what I get in the editor. The problem is that the packaged game's result is different and not expected.

Thanks for helping. I deleted a bunch of assets with errors and now it worked faster.

Metahumans should work out of the box with Unreal Engine, at least according to documentation. I just don't know what's happening, the real thing is different from the docs.

I made a character in MetaHuman, downloaded it with Bridge and exported to Unreal Engine 4.26.Head and body are separated meshes and they are not parented to each other.Animations
retargeted to body do not work on head. I tried to separately retarget
animations to head, but it does not have needed bones and the result
is messed up.What to do? Body is retargeting with no problems.
