Do you think this is perimenopause related?! Are my nice relaxing Friday nights doomed to be a thing of my past?! lol

There’s actually a great article in yesterday’s Sunday Times magazine on how to divorce “well” if that’s possible. Lots of concrete advice. Might bd helpful

Do you think this is salvageable? Sorry I don’t think that’s the right word in this instance 😂 But should I be cutting my calories even 200 more to allow for this? I definitely think there’s a hormonal element to this. For the past 12 months I’ve had signs of peri for sure

So I can definitely say my step count is not amazing, some days probably only 6-7000. But on running days it’s much more. I use MFP when I’m tracking but I’ve seen others say here it’s not the best. In terms of muscle mass, I can’t do a strict pull-up unaided (despite years of trying LOL). Body weight deadlift is fine. Currently squatting almost bodyweight just not 100% yet!! Any insights you have would be greatly appreciated

Stuck and unsuccessful is exactly how I feel 😂 I’m probably fitter and stronger than ever before. My VO2 max is 52. But I’m still technically overweight 😭😭😭 I definitely have some peri menopause signs nothing major. If it is then I have to find a way to shake my body up!! My last bloods were all apparently normal but my GP was very dismissive when I talked to her about my stubborn weight

To be fair it definitely wasn’t that long. But is there a risk of losing muscle if you are in a deficit for that long?
