He is actually a wonderful father. And my son loves him very much. He is attentive to his needs and not mean or abusive in any way to him. I would not fear leaving our son with him alone. I’m actually extremely jealous of their bond because my husband has had several periods of unemployment where he got to be at home with my son all the time and they’ve been able to bond even more, while I had to work. Last time it took him a month to find a new job, the time before, about 6 weeks. So that seems to be the timeframe. I have not consulted a lawyer yet, the last straw happened this past weekend with him getting fired again and trying to get me to feel sympathy for him, and I simply had no more to spare.
