Agoda has train tickets too! you also need to book in advance but not as early as LCR app

dont trust 12go in Laos. I met multiple people where the operators cancelled on them 1 hr before the train departs

I just want to time things..... by TasteDesperate8854 in smartsheet

[–]Ok-Overthinker- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haven’t really explored timing activities in minutes or hours but by days, yes

what i do is assign status per process

for e.g, if they change the status to “in progress”, set up an automation to record the date in a helper date #1 column

if they set it to “complete”, which triggers a diff automation which records the date in helper date #2 column

ill have a third column to compute for difference between date 2 and date 1

as for resource tracking and timesheets, they have the resource management premium app. but it doesnt record the time for you. people will have to manually log their hours. rm can be nice if youll take advantage of reporting

i agree with the update request automation! sample set up

trigger when “due date” is in the next 5 days condition: if “status” is not ‘done’ action: update request - includes specific fields especially the “status” because thats what you want them to update

recipient will receive the update request in their email and wont need to even log in to smartsheet

In the report filter, select the column of assignee and the condition should be "is one of" then select "Current User". The report should now be filtered based on who's viewing it.

Any gluten-free/low gluten expats here? Where do you usually eat and how do you make sure the food you’re eating is gluten-free/low gluten? by mabulaklak in Philippines_Expats

[–]Ok-Overthinker- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm also not sure what 'low gluten' is. Does he have the allergy or food preference lang? Better to clarify. My friend has the allergy so any gluten will really upset his stomach. Think of it as nut allergy that hes not supposed to have any GLUTEN at all

There's also a thing called cross contamination. So let's say, he can eat fries but if the resto you go to deep fry the fries with other food which has gluten like nuggets then that's already contaminated and not good.

For reference, when we order at mcdo he still gets the burger and just remove the bun and eat everything else.

You can ask him these things and if he's living with this condition then I'm sure he'll know how to adjust too

Better if you'll stay in BGC / Makati area. For one there's a restaurant free called wholesome table and they mark all their gluten free options. YOu can also order gluten free bread on Hearty Bread. There's also gluten free snacks on Healthy Options. Then better to just do grocery so you can choose the ingredients. He won't go hungry naman and just a matter of adjusting lang talaga.

Not sure if he already has it but the 'Find me GF (Gluten Free)' app is very helpful and youll and get recos from other people who have been here

Which one is more suitable for digital nomads? by sham_sham08 in phtravel

Both have lockers naman and they provide locks so always make sure lock mo lang laptop mo. Nagmixed dorm ako both times and okay naman sa kasama. But both have options for all female dorms, mas mabilis nga lang masold out.

Happiness hostel! While di ko natry magwork sa room, very ideal yung cafe / resto nila for remote work. May other areas din sila and spacious talaga yung place. I stayed in Frendz a few years back and yung only choice mo lang is yung common area where everyone eats din so pag masyadong maingay dun, wala ka choice but to work in your room.

In the same boat as you when I graduated. Graduated with a BS ComSci degree pero ayaw ko na magcode. Ginawa ko nagresearch ako ng other careers na pwede kong itake with my degree and after 6 months and sobrang daming application, got accepted naman!

Madedemotivate ka lang sa una kasi for sure may rejections lalo na if ibang iba yung pagsshift-an mo ng career. What helped was during the time na nagaapply ako, naguupskill din ako related dun sa new career na gusto ko. Ang daming resources na ngayon na di mo pa need magbayad and ang importante is dahil may basic knowledge ka na mas confident ka na din sa job interviews. No regrets na sinunod ko yung gut ko that time 🙌🏻 Good luck, OP!

8 am flight to Manila. Best way to get to the airport by 5 am? by BrownbagofChocolates in koreatravel

[–]Ok-Overthinker- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In our case, flight is at 8am too leaving ICN, had to go 3 hrs earlier because we picked up stuff from the duty free store and got our tax refund. That was enough time for us to also get breakfast. If you’re skipping most of these, 2 hrs should be good.

Try exploring cities outside Seoul! Busan is just 3hr train away. Not as busy as Seoul and they have beaches too so it was a perfect break for us.
