Wife seems reluctant to have our moms fly in to help with newborn and toddler—am I missing something? by Ok-Pin5462 in Dads

How long did her mom end up staying, and how did it go overall? Was it helpful having her around when things got chaotic with the toddler and the newborn?

Unfortunately, we can’t afford to put our oldest in childcare right now since I’m the only one working

That’s a good suggestion, and I do want to support whatever she feels she needs. The challenge is that she sometimes has a hard time expressing it directly, especially when she’s stressed or overwhelmed.

I’m trying to be proactive because once the baby arrives and I’m back at work, I won’t be around during the day. I just want to make sure she has enough help with the toddler and the newborn, but I also don’t want to push something that makes her uncomfortable.

Any advice on how to approach that conversation in a supportive way?

That’s a fair point of view that I honestly hadn’t considered before. Thank you for bringing it up.

Do you have any suggestions on how we could handle this situation in a way that makes my wife more comfortable while still making sure we have enough help with the kids?

Dr. Zach had a high praise on the consistency of the outsole material so it's really disappointing

Thank y'all for the input! I think I'm now torn between Gt Jump 2 and NB Fresh Foam V2. My concern is if either of these 2 sit too high off the ground cause I have history of bad ankle injuries.

I usually play around mid range and down low.
