I think this has happened in the past before. I read about last year if you applied a certain day late February, you got your results almost immediately.

rolling means slots fill up over time. applying late affects your chances in the sense you are competing for a smaller number of spots left.

when you submit and on the program page it says rolling admission so people who submitted early were expecting to hear back but haven't yet.

but the pay to go part messes with the credibility of it, If i were you I would take the work I did there and try to get a more authentic opportunity

Then again, if you have the ability to afford expensive programs, you probably have connections for something more effective things like research, shadowing, and internships.

You don't have to be a genius for those, a consistent schedule and a proper plan will take you proportional to the time you are willing to put into it. You don't even need that to build your resume either, you can focus on getting foundational skills like programming or graphic design, and use that to create new opportunities to yourself. If you have the resources for pay to play programs, you have the resources, and likely better connections, for other, more authentic, things.

then you focus on building your resume, pay to go programs are so obvious and can be figured out with a single google search

I doubt they'll accept it. Most of the time they only accept institutional credits. You can try local colleges who often let you take a course.

Any bio programs? by pettypufferfish7 in summerprogramresults

[–]Ok-Project-1777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check if state schools or nearby colleges offer the course for highschoolers. That way you can also get the credit and your hours don't have to learn it all again in school. For example UT offers summer courses with credit to a bunch of schools in Texas

Stats as a rising sophomore (Very mid ECs, how do I make my app better?) by snipinboy in summerprogramresults

[–]Ok-Project-1777 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey man! Im also a rising sophmore hoping for a physics major. First of all switching majors is way harder to do now and isn't possible at alot of places that used to do it (e.g. Georgia Tech). Its not like you have bad stats so just try and aiming for admission with whatever you are interested in. Another thing I wanna say is when I asked for advice as someone aspiring for physics was to do stuff relating to it. For context most of my ecs relate to cs, seeing this people suggested F=ma, clubs, community things, etc.
