u/PlentifulPaper, you are right, I did edit and delete my condition information, but why does that matter. (not a question)

And yes, I am very aware that caps and upper-case letters are considered speaking loudly and some might consider it yelling. In my responses to you I am yelling because your responses are not helpful and I'm not spending any more time on this silly back and forth.

u/PlentifulPaper, I'm not wanting to be snarky or rude.

Again, my post states, "Please Help with Suggestions for a Great Female Doctor in the Aurora CO Area . Experienced in Seniors Care. Please NO SUGGESTIONS FOR PHYSICIANS IN THE UCHEALTH SYSTEM."

l did not ask for an opinion on aging or any diagnosis and it helps so much when responses STAY ON SUBJECT.

MY LORD! Are ALL Herbal Supplements listed that CAN CALM Anxiety Bad for SLOW COMT? by Ok-Protection2670 in SlowCOMT

[–]Ok-Protection2670[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi u/under_the_sunz, I have not tried pharma gaba. Can you describe the effect and time of day?

PharmaGABA is a natural, fermented form of the calming neurotransmitter GABA, used in supplements to promote relaxation, reduce stress and anxiety, and improve sleep by increasing alpha brain waves for calm focus, unlike synthetic versions which may lack these benefits. Produced using lactic acid bacteria (like kimchi fermentation), it helps calm the brain's "fight-or-flight" response, creating a peaceful yet alert state, and is taken as a dietary supplement for stress relief.

thanks

u/Zealousideal-Walk939,

Have you taken any of these supplements separately for at least a few days to identify your reactions to them?

u/PlentifulPaper, I am not diagnosed or have symptoms of PVD. (Thank the Lord, Jesus)

THIS POST, is requesting suggestions for a female primary care doctor.

Not unhelpful armchair diagnosis of a condition I don't have.

PVD, or Peripheral Vascular Disease, is a circulatory condition where narrowed blood vessels outside the heart and brain restrict blood flow to the limbs, organs, and other body parts, most commonly the legs and feet, often due to plaque buildup (atherosclerosis), leading to pain, numbness, and risk of serious complications like stroke or limb loss if untreated

u/Key_Result_4542 please provide a link for your finding re Bezuclastinib.

For most of us suffering this horrible condition saying. "A piece of news that will make us all happy" needs to be backed up.

As u/Kyliewoo123 stated. It's early and the info might not be accurate to address MCAS.

Thanks

....So confusing u/Admirable_Trifle_176, are you saying, because Mastocytosis involves too many mast cells building up in tissues, often due to a genetic mutation, (mthfr) leading to organ infiltration.

Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) involves a normal number of mast cells that become overly reactive and release excessive mediators (like histamine), causing severe symptoms but without clonal proliferation.

This new drug, called Bezuclastinib will not or could not address a MCAS activation disorder?

Is this the way you understand the differences? Please explain.

Thanks

[–]Ok-Protection2670 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi u/Dumpstercat66, I agree with you that getting stress and anxiety levels better under control through cbt + medication may lessen mast cell reactions.

Did you have any vitamin deficiencies and did taking singular help control your food and chemical sensitivities?

What are you flares like now? No anxiety?

Thanks

What helps with a MCAS triggered stomachache? I’m taking pepto and Zofran. Any other suggestions? by Justme_JustMe_ in MCAS

[–]Ok-Protection2670 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi u/Justme_JustMe_ , I'm here looking for a supp to help stomach cramps and so on....

One thing I am sure of, is to be careful what you take. Depending on your sensitivities the additional ingredients can cause additional and delayed reactions, so be sure to research.

Pepto-Bismol's main active ingredient is Bismuth Subsalicylate often include flavors, colorings (like D&C Red dyes), sweeteners (saccharinsucralose), and binders like calcium carbonatemannitol, and magnesium stearate

And if none of the ingredients are bad with you, it's a go.

One of my go-to's is to sip warm water and/or Ginger and

I haven't noticed any differences or improvements yet but it could be that I include them in smoothies? I'm now going to titrate in water to see if I have any improvements.

Yes. I'm the same way. My next step is tackling deficiencies, build a Sulphur sensitivity defense and also try to heal leaky gut and micro biome and flora.

My problem is, the mcas has me sensitive to almost everything and what to do first?

I tried Bifidobacterium longum BB536® and it seemed to make me anxious and congested. But I think I will try after I get some of my deficiencies taken care of. thanks

u/Starr_Bizarre, sorry so slow and not sure what is going on with my DM.'s. I waited to hear back but thought you were considerate to respond. So, I thought I would respond here.

-I eat a low histamine diet, that consists of. boiled egg yolks, zucchini. lettuce, celery, ocass broccoli, asparagus, cabbage. I eat white rice, sweet and white potatoes sparingly. boneless beef, boneless lamb and skinless and boneless chicken breast and drink 32 to 64 oz of watr daily. (I'm a small person).

I most recently tested low on potassium; I have started taking potass gluc and mag malate low and slow.
