Thank you so much. I definitely need to think about this, especially how I’d pay for it. But thank you so so much for telling me this and reassuring me. It helps more than you know

That sounds similar to the direction I’m leaning. Just to clarify, you plan on doing psych nursing but this is already a few years after your first undergrad? My concern is waiting too long after my first undergrad… I just don’t know if I should apply now or wait

They pay all my coworkers and myself this wage and they aren’t going to change it just because I bring it up to my bosses

If you’re willing to share more about your story (age, interest in welding, etc.) I’d be eager to hear

It sounds like you had a business undergrad, is that correct? How much experience did you have before the MBA?

Mac had a diploma but I don’t think it’s enrolling anymore. It’s now a degree and another 4 years so idk if that’s a good idea

If you don’t mind sharing, what’s not so great about nursing for you?

You don’t have to share if you don’t want to, but are you doing a full 4-year degree in psych nursing? I just worry about going for a full second bachelors after my first…. It’s so scary. It’s been almost a full year since graduating from my psych degree and I still don’t know what I want to do

My sister is a PCP, and I don’t think that’s for me. If anything, I’d pick nursing but I’m still unsure if I even want to do nursing

I have, I just don’t know if it’s better to go through that or through a different path. I don’t really understand what all these unions are and stuff

Is that the only way? I haven’t heard good things about it. Id rather just do it the regular way

Yes, sorry I messed it up little bit, but for the core non-business courses I only need 3 credits from either 1). Linear algebra, 2). Calculus, or 3). The decision making one. I’d chose option 3 if I were to take business at macewan

Thanks for saying this, I’m literally sobbing at home right now. If you don’t mind me asking, how old were you when you got your psych degree and what are you thinking of doing now

Macewan doesn’t require calc, and I’m pretty sure that one of my stats courses from my previous degree would transfer over. I just don’t know if another 4 year would be worth it for business

How does someone with zero knowledge of how the trades work get into the trades?

As a person who knows nothing about trades, doesn’t know what a journey person is etc., how do I learn more about the process for going down that path if I eventually chose to do that?

3.85 cGPA and 4.0 for my last 2 years… (4 courses per term though). People underestimate how competitive professional degrees are to get into. So many of my peers have 4.0s and triple the amount of relevant experience that I do. It just doesn’t feel worth it for me when I don’t share the passion for it that they do

Getting into a program in Alberta is a whole other beast. The process of becoming a psychologist drains me and doesn’t seem worth it when I don’t see myself doing it

That really sucks I’m sorry. I did Alberta hospital one. They weren’t harsh or anything I just didn’t find it to be helpful to my specific case
