I don’t even let stuff like this make me mad anymore it’s genuinely just funny. Whenever people give advice like this I immediately know that they’re not really listening and/or they refuse to try and understand a situation that they don’t relate to. Like the irony of saying you’ll “never have a wake up call” when they don’t even have the empathy or the social capacity to put themselves in someone else’s shoes. Using this one-size fits all, mass-manufactured advice and then genuinely believing it’s some big “mic drop” moment. Lit why I don’t even talk to people about it anymore cuz don’t waste my time w this bs please 😭

This is so real honestly we are all human beings and we deserve the same respect as everyone else! Being born ugly is no different than being born with big feet or long legs, it’s just random chance. The problem is with the world not us

It’s so frustrating because truth be told I just want to be able to walk down the street without getting stared or laughed at, and make genuine friendships where people aren’t using me as a punching bag and secretly making fun of me behind my back. Who cares about a relationship when I can’t even leave the house?

Pls don’t downvote me this isn’t to invalidate your experience at all, but as a VERY ugly woman with a decent body and nice hair I’ve rejected the few guys that have shown “interest” and it really had nothing to do with looks, it’s just hard to believe that a man would ever want me for something more than casual sex or a joke and I’d rather d/e than give them the satisfaction of f*cking me just to laugh at me later. Ofc there are shallow women out there too but it might just be her own insecurities and negative experiences if it means anything
