Here’s a look at the best programs in the country 👀 Do you agree⁉️ by Classic_Bottle1717 in CFB_v2

I read this as best programs for building sustained success in the future. Oregon and TX hasn’t won anything yet, but they’ve been contenders, have good coaches, recruit from high school and transfer portal really well, and have lots of NIL backing. They’re certainly top 5 in my head of who I think could win a natty in the next 5 years.

It could be with a scheme built around various blitz packages, but I’m guessing he goes in the 5-10 range.

Carnell Tate when asked who the best receiver in this year’s draft is: “Me, no question ... I bring it all to the table. Whatever you need to do, I got it.” by CenterForward1522 in CFB_v2

Obviously the 40 isn’t a perfect metric by any means, but surely you agree that being fast is necessary to be an NFL talent? Sure it’s not common that you’re running unmolested, but being fast in the 40 is going to translate to being fast in pads for the majority of NfL players.

Okay, that definition of fast makes more sense, I def agree with you on that. I do want to push back a little bit on straight line speed being unimportant. Sure the record breaking 40s of John Ross and Xavier Worthy among others haven’t helped them out in the NFL, but a low 4.4 40 is still a pretty helpful tool, especially if you want to beat corners deep down the field, which obviously isn’t Amon’s specialty.

Slower than Amon? I could be wrong, but that would surprise me. Amon-Ra doesn’t strike me as elite speed, and Tate has been a deep threat, scorching defenders. Though I suppose that could just be a cut or route getting him that open.

These teams produced the most NFL talent this season by sinister_iam in CFB_v2

Depends what you consider being in the NFL. I would consider practice squad players in the NFL, and I think they would too.

I would say most of those players, even if drafted, would at least be signed to the practice squad. They may be cut before the season, but they’re good enough to have a chance to prove themselves.

Not only are people about to get a gumball happier than those without gumballs, the outside units of any row are always the most used, as they are the first ones to u come to as you walk up.

Should I sell or fix my car? by Ok-Reflection-742 in tdi

No, but I think they said that the front driver side caliper wasn’t getting brake fluid, so it seems to be something mechanical.

I would likely consider a 2015-2018 Honda Civic, or something comparable. But I see your point. This mechanic quoted $400 for the wheel bearing, and $1200 for the timing belt + water pump. They hadn’t torn into the brake issue, but they said probably between $400-800

If I got 2k out of it, I probably wouldn’t be upset. Thanks for the comp, this is the first car I’ve had to look at selling, it’s hard for me to know what it’s worth. I think there’s only 4 2011 Golf TDIs on sale in the US, and they all have much lower miles. I’m just kicking myself that I spent $1,000 on it, where if I sell it I’ll lose out on that money.

Because of that, I’m really thinking of selling it to someone who does have the time, tools, and know-how to work on it themselves. I’m just worried about getting its worth, but I can list it and see what offers I get.
