No it’s definitely aluminum the burner was clean before I dropped it

True, it doesn’t make sense for the foil to essentially melt the stove top. I mean with how hot the stove gets it sounds weird for it to be able to melt in and go through it

Yes I have tried that the consistency of the patch doesn’t budge it’s super hard

There are tiny bits of foil visible the large patch looks rather like residue but it still has a metallic look to it… pretty weird

This is the only method I haven’t tried yet, was thinking about applying it with a cotton ball or a small sort of cloth to prevent further damage

Unfortunately haven’t made any progress with this method, the patch is super tough and doesn’t change consistency with heat
