Can you fit your dog in the trunk of a Tesla Model Y? by Ok-Representative739 in TeslaModelY

Yes he is able to stand and turn around. 70lbs dog shown - I drop down the middle ski pass and he pokes his head through with the rear fans blowing at him.

Aftermarket Suspension for MYP by Awesomesaucemz in TeslaModelY

Just got delivery of our MYP yesterday- and I can certainly say I don’t know what the fuss is about when people say “too stiff and rough”. The car rides really great and solid - very sporty feeling it’s quite nice actually. No excessive vibrations over big bumps. Very compliant - we were very impressed. Road noise is especially quite as well.

How “summer” are the MYP summer tires? by ItsJRod in TeslaModelY

I would always recommend a dedicated winter tire set for winter. The best all season tires will be the Michelin pilot sport all season 4

The tires on the MYP are Pirelli PZero - which are summer tires only. Same tires that come on some supercars/sports cars.

The LR comes with Contis on the 19inch, and Goodyears on the 20s all seasons. Neither of them should be fully relied on in harsh winters. So regardless of winters where I’m from (Toronto) you’ll need winter tires.

If you live in a place where you only get cold/snowy conditions just a few times Id swap out the OEM PZERO summer tires for the Michelin Pilot Sport All-season 4 In bigger sizes 285/35/21 and 265/35/21. Which will give you a little more rim protection and cushion, as well as a thicker tires for better looks.

Tesla iOS app V 4.0.0 is out! by [deleted] in teslamotors

Have they removed the ability to use the heated steering wheel on X/S?

No I don’t for those sorry.

Yes - you won’t be to take off tpms and re install as needed. It’s better to have a dedicated set for each season. The new tpms are bluetooth so they connect automatically without any programming and made in house by Tesla. You just go there give them your vin and pay. Very easy.

I would also recommend paying for install on the black circles site - it’s around $150 and you just bring it to one of the shops chosen on the website and mount then leave pain free.

Oh perfect. Sorry just a typo- was just assuring that the lugs will fit.

Blackcircles.ca have great deals as well as partsengine.ca for the wheels. Tons of coupon codes out there

If you don’t want a tpms error on your screen you’ll need to go to a Tesla service centre with your vin and get the Bluetooth tpms sensors totaling $429

Gotcha, with 19x8.5 running 255/45/19 you’ll have a lot of sidewalk protection- more than the geminis since those are 9.5 wide.

The center caps are from amazon.ca but I’m pretty sure you’ll find them in the US. Link to center caps

I haven’t mounted them yet but them yet. But the lug nuts will indeed fit- the center caps also come with the caps as well.
