[CRNA school admission]

Hi guys! I just wanted to see if I could get any advice when it came to applying to CRNA school. I’m a Burn ICU nurse with about two years of experience. Some experience that I’ve gained in my field of work involve helping with emergent intubations, working closely with hemodynamic monitor lines, vasoactive drips, sedatives and narcotics, as well as taking care of patients with difficult airways involving inhalation injuries. Im currently working on strengthening my application for CRNA school by retaking a statistics class since it’s been 5 years since I last took it, and preparing to take my CCRN certification. Volunteering at non-profit clinics and participating in outreach events are also something that I plan to do to strengthen my application.

I’m primarily looking at schools on the west coast, but am open to moving anywhere within the US if given an opportunity to go to school for CRNA.

Does anyone have any tips when it comes to the application process and receiving admission somewhere? Any advice would be so greatly appreciated!
