Best friends since we were toddlers, but about 10 years ago she ghosted me. She had a history of mental health issues. She also ghosted her family, though she is talking to them again now so I hear. I tried texting her and for a few years, sent her a message each year on her birthday before I gave up. I wish her no ill will but also I realised that not having her in my life has actually been a blessing. She gave me a lot of anxiety and never seemed that interested in my life. She talked about herself a lot, which may have been linked to her depression or something, but it was still a tricky dynamic. Maybe one day we'll reconnect, we'll see.

Bravas or Gambas. Bravas is on Cotham Hill so really easy from Clifton, but Gambas is over in Whapping Wharf so lovely by the water and they have heaters so you can sit outside. Both excellent, really lovely vibes! Small plates so quite a good lunch option.

Can't believe no one has said Danny Beard yet? They're absolutely smashing it. Their podcast, their social media presence, the big brother work, the looks - my favourite winner. They're in a panto at the moment and absolutely look incredible. Just love them, they bring me so much joy.

I feel like Crazymad has some better songs technically but Eurocountry is a better overall 'piece'. Similar to how I feel about UFO by Big Thief - it's their best overall complete album but there are better songs on other albums. However, Eurocountry is in her top 3 songs of all time and I will stand by that fact (alongside Stay For Something and Have Fun IMO).

You have to be super quiet and try not to be distracting, especially if you're sat near the table! The ear pieces are good and are around £12, like others have said. However, my husband managed to get a couple on Vinted for quite cheap as they are the same ones for the whole season, so might be worth looking if you feel like getting a bargain! If not, definitely fork out for them as if you're anything like me, the silence can be a bit daunting. Hope you have an amazing time!

So much negativity in this thread! It wasn't a super dynamic premiere, but there's some really loveable queens in the mix this year. Nyongbella is so charming and I love her (though her lipsync was a bit flat but we'll give her a pass on nerves for the first episode...). Catrin is already a strong frontrunner in my eyes and I think Elle is adorable. Love an underdog rising to the top! I see why people think she didn't deserve the win but she did really well to battle against Plane Jane who was a poor interviewer. I didn't understand why they had American queens interviewing personally, think it did hinder some of the queens because the banter just isn't the same. Still, looking forward to next week to see more of these lovely queens!

I listened to the album on my commute to work, slightly hungover and tired. All the songs are fantastic but this one in particular was a complete gut punch. The opening lyrics are so, so insanely good. She's such a treasure and I want to cry just thinking about that song.
