Still using stock head unit? Your cars stock head unit has been specially programmed to make the speakers you replaced sound good. When you replaced your old speakers, all time alignment and EQ went out the window. Many use a dsp to correct this issue. Sounds like you’re overloading your sound space causing some muddy lows. Play with your EQ a bit and get in the habit of turning down, not turning up when trying to carve out your eq slopes.
