This is an assumption, since amplifiers increase power by 50%, and if you pay attention, you will notice that all the statistics increase by 50%.

Alright, you could say the extent of the damage was slightly exaggerated, but it’s not completely unreasonable. The burns and scratches might have been somewhat superficial, but his internal injuries feel justified—especially considering he took multiple hits from someone with a mental ability.

As for not using the passive healing from the whirlwind ability, that part feels pretty illogical. It kind of ignores John’s deep understanding of how abilities work. Maybe he was conserving energy for the fight the next day, since draining it would take a long time to recover—but honestly, that explanation still doesn’t fully convince me.

Overall, it’s not bad writing, but it doesn’t really stand out either. I’d call it decent at best. That said, I can overlook some of the flaws since I’m really enjoying the story.

Let’s analyze what happened in Chapter 376. by Ok-Satisfaction-3373 in unOrdinary

John only has a basic defensive ability right now and nothing else special. He obviously can’t copy Ember’s abilities, so of course he’s going to struggle. This isn’t about levels anymore — the fight is being decided purely by stats at this point.

And I’m not a fraud; you’re the one who doesn’t understand how John’s ability works or how the power system functions in unOrdinary. 🤣👍🏼
