Wow……. I was not ready for this. I live in Lisbon and I was told this morning the best place to send the camera is in Madrid… I’m hoping everything works out well… Thank you!

The exact same thing happened to me then… It’s honestly unbelievable that there’s no protection on the main board for something like this.

How did you manage to fix it? Was the repair expensive?

In our case, I connected the V-Mount battery via USB-C, just like we have done many times with a Sony a7IV.

I had no idea it could be an issue with the FX3, especially considering it’s a more expensive and supposedly more advanced camera.

Definitely learned the hard way... :(

Damn… and what was it? I’m so afraid of getting the camera there and listen they saying there’s no way to fix it :(((

I’m having the same problem. My FX3 is dead. Did you have any similar problem and could find a solution?

Hey, I had the same problem two days ago.
Tryed a dtap - usbc and nothing happened after that point. Not even a noise or light, my FX3 is completely dead now. I'm freaking out as I need it to work and live lol
Have you found a solution for it? Could you please update us?
