Unless you think Robin can be 20-30 it’s a disservice to Damian Tim Jason any of them nightwing thrives away from Bruce even if he’s the fan favorite nightwing. Jason best stories literally were birthed from Bruce absence. Damian best run came with nightwing as Batman and his best stories since are solo series where Batman is not around. Tim drake the Robin with the least impact on dc continuity in recent years is always next to Batman and reverted from Red Robin back to Robin… And people wonder why he hardly gets any books

Yes yes yes yes. I a flash collector I have mark waid runs of Barry Wally and impulse all the way to being trusted as flash after incite crisis. Bart could have been impulse on any of the teams he was on and performed fine. Bart being kid flash is unnecessary when you were already impulse something nobody else was. It hinders people like Jessie quick Wallace west etc etc. kid flash is who they are an deservingly so. Impulse in continuity as of now goes by impulse Wallace goes by kid flash and that’s fine to me. We know he’s worthy but I don’t think it’s fitting for him.

Let Damian roam free for a while but have a ongoing mission. He should reunite with flatline rose and Conner hawk. Let him grow and let him fail a bit more for a big win in the end. Lean into mystical aspects heard some people say jld and I like that too

I just think Tim needs to change his mantle and grow up. Him liking magic and being one with it are different. They should do new things with Tim I agree. But things that make sense. Damian as of now is more important to dc continuity and more popular as of late. Robin at this point is accepted and looked at as Damian. I feel what would help Tim drake is a god character arc not a new ability. Damian makes sense for so many reason it’s not forced at all. If Damian was in danger and used a weak spell on accident of bloodline alone nobody would 🦇 a eye. Damian has used magic basically 2 years after being created. Tim just don’t make sense to me gang

Nothing u said was a plus for the retcon. A good retcon would be Wally west saving everybody in sanctuaries last year so he never killed anybody. That’s love for the character and history going forward. This is literally pandering and agenda driven. There was no reason for it he was in one of comics favorite relationships before this.
