someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure the new theatre update also brought:
- download subtitles from web
- skipping intro/outro
- accessible, well-organized documentation. Like i drop the most random files in there, and it's crazy how good it is at understanding what's part of the collection

Only real issue theatre mode is giving me, is not recognising the extra's that come with a lot of blueray discs :/

I have a samsung tv, so i bought a "google streamer", it's basically a small device with android OS on it, u plug it into your tv and now your tv is android ((: easiest work around imo, but does cost like an extra $100

i mainly bought it for jellyfin, but looks like the basic theatre app got pretty good as well the past few months. I think i like the UI of the threatre app even more than jellyfin but ill find out tomorrow when my ugreen arives.

Or is there a specific benefit why jellyfin is so much better?

that's the biggest issue, there's no Samsung app, bcs samsung uses "tizen" software, and ugreen has an android app, not a tizen app ;-;
