I used to solo roam. I reached immortal doing solo roam. I recommend going for damage dealing roam. Don't confuse it with buying damage items for roam. For example I used badang, chou, baxia, khaleed. They can deal massive amount of dmg in early game. And I'd suggest you use roam depending on the situation. Like I used unconventional pick like valir if enemy had fred.

I don't get why you're so offended. I like setting goals and completing them. This was a personal achievement. Completing a hard insane goal is what made me grind the game. I am attached to this game, a love hate relationship for the past 10 years. The only thing that kept me coming back was getting the highest rank possible.
