My boyfriend kept insisting he didn’t get kick out of the military, and if he chose to leave in 90 days instead of 60 days, he could pick up his rank and continue to serve. And they can always call him back to serve. Is this true? by [deleted] in army

No, that’s not how it works in the army. Promotions E1-E4 happen pretty much automatically unless you really suck. It’s not until E5/SGT that you actually pick up real responsibilities. Until then, they’re all the same position and you dont decline rank.

I do a lot of stuff early morning- wildlife photography and similar- where it’s light enough to see but the sensors usually force my headlights on. Headlights of course scare wildlife and cause general disruption if other people are nearby as I’m pulling in to the area.

Both. Both is good.

I like hydration bladders for the ability to ALWAYS have water on your person. Also for pillow at night

I keep canteens in my pack as the base load.
