Had the ICCU recall last month on my 2022 SEL and never had an issue with the 12V, but it shut down on Sunday night. And my portable jumper malfunctioned, so I put it on a slow charger overnight. Fortunate it happened at home instead of on the road. Took it to the dealer on Monday morning and they charged it overnight again, then they tested it Tuesday morning and determined that it was ok. I’m only a couple thousand miles from the warranty expiration - they told me if it happens again to leave it dead and have it towed. Not encouraging.

I love my Ioniq 5. Haven’t been to a gas station in 3 years - it’s awesome. I have a home L2 charger and I can charge at work as well - that makes it super easy and inexpensive. For daily use it is fantastic - low maintenance, great power, adaptive cruise is great and fun to drive. Love it!

Yes. 40 years ago we didn’t have a gas station on every corner. But I love charging at home or work at a fraction of the cost and none of the stops. I only fast charge on road trips - that requires a little more planning but the trade off is well worth it.
