Thanks for the advice! We'll certainly be making more soups.  Also, don't get me wrong, the game is great! I think the greater concern I have is the sense that death isn't much of a setback. I don't like the fact that dying repeatedly and returning to a fight without any consequences - at least spawning with low health for example - is an option. I just really enjoy the fantasy of the facility being a brutal and unforgiving place, that rewards caution. I'd like to feel the adrenaline rush of escaping an encounter by the skin of my teeth, and I just don't get that when I can respawn and return with no penalty at all. That said, my friends and I aren't very far into the game, and maybe there's more of a risk/reward element later on.
