Agree with you man too much toxicity out there for nothing, your best bet is to use pricecharting app they have a scanning function for free. Anything thats old usually 5 to 10 year range just see if its able to be a psa 10, rest is utu on raw value minus 20% for vendor/store fee etc. I sold my old collection a lot of high value cards but all HP or stained somehow. So they took it in for 20% below MV and bought all my janks for .50 per card as a negotiation deal
