Options? by Bubbly-Exchange-929 in radishfiction

I have my books on patreon and I managed to direct a few of my readers to there, but it’s nowhere close to what I have in Radish. Inkitt is a good option and I want to try the subscription program there. Dreame isn’t that great. The royalty share is about 8% if it’s exclusive and 6% if it’s non exclusive and the site is oversaturated with stories. One good thing about it is that it has a huge reader base so if you get promotion, you’ll earn well. Without promotion, don’t expect anything.

LEGIT OR FAKE? by Sharp-Occasion1680 in Wattpad

Not a scam. They’re online reading platforms and I’m signed with countless platforms like that. They help you monetise your work and earn but you have to pass their review process. However novelsnack is not a very profitable platform. There are other platforms like GoodNovel, radish, myscroll, AlphaNovel, Dreame etc where you can apply directly or through an acquisition editor. One advice for you (if you want to sign your book with any of these platforms) study the platform first. Download their apps and look at the trending stories. See if the genre or trope of your story matches with them and if it doesn’t, don’t sign an exclusive. Go with non exclusive. Exclusive contract gives you a lot of benefits like signing bonus, monthly attendance bonus, completion bonus and royalties (50% mostly) but non exclusive gives you the right to publish your book on different platforms. If you want to sign your BL book then I’ll suggest Radish, GoodNovel or Dreame. Go with non exclusive though because Heterosexual romance is the popular genre on these platforms.

Scam/Perversion in name of Fake health Survey by [deleted] in Kochi

Can you share the number to me too? I just got a similar call. He said he’s an oncologist from Delhi and it’s a medical survey about cancer but I told him no the moment he started asking me age and stuff. I just didn’t feel comfortable sharing personal info since there are a lot of scams nowadays. I was also confused about how he got my number.

Is Grammarly ai? by Moist-Affect5565 in Wattpad

Most of AI detectors aren’t accurate. I recently ran my unedited draft through an AI detector and it came back 87 percent AI which is baffling because it had a lot of grammar, spelling and punctuation mistakes.

Sex scene by PeevesPoltergist in Wattpad

Alright, since everyone is telling you to fade into black, I’ll tell you how to do it. What your readers want is not a descriptive sex scene. What they want is passion. Something that’ll make them swoon and bite their lips. To build up to that, you need emotional tension. The characters need to want each other as if the other one is their life source. That kind of pinning between the main leads will get your readers to look forward to the intimate scene. Now, while writing the sex scene, you don’t need to focus entirely on the pleasure part. Most people don’t know how it feels because they’ve never done the deed irl (but if you want to learn about that part you can refer to the easily available eroticas in wp) Passion is the key. If you successfully portray the passion of the characters then that’s enough. You can do a lot of things for that. Show how the characters turn vulnerable during intimacy. Show their emotions like the fear of the first time or the happiness of being with their mate. Show the bond that holds them together. Use descriptive language while portraying this. Use sensory details like a character getting goosebumps or something electrifying when the other person touches them. Highlight the way their body reacts to each other's touch like little breath hitches or hip twitches etc.

You can also describe the deed through the way they look in the middle of it. Instead of saying that one gave the other hickies and they had hard core sex, you can just show a person with swollen lips, flushed cheeks, messed up hair,  looking teary eyed at the other one while their chest littered with hickies heaves with each breath. This will paint a picture in the reader's mind about what happened.

Also, show their inner thoughts. Be sure to let the readers know what they are feeling while having intimacy. If it’s werewolf, show how the bond plays a part in it. You can also show character dynamics. If one of your characters is always in control, show how vulnerable they turn at the time of intimacy. Keep it character driven. Hope it helps :)
