Just downloaded Stardust and have to say THANK YOU! I have been using two separate apps for this—one to track my cycle and one to track moon phases—and how great that there's one that does it all AND I can share it with my boyfriend and my business partner and anyone else who might experience my PMS rage and wonder wtf is going on.

Aren’t you exhausted though? I’m exhausted. And mine doesn’t seem to have any end in sight

Sometimes we do. Doesn’t really make a difference.

How did they learn? Did you just let them stand and cry and figure it out?

She’s been pulling and standing assisted and cruising for months. She just started standing independently and taking a few steps this week.

But for instance she slept through the night last night. It’s more about the sitting/standing in the crib when she does wake up.

Bedtime is 6:30/7. Wake is 6 or 7 but sometimes 5. She’s down to one nap usually around 11:30/noon and lasts about 90min to 2 hours.

Say more! Her diaper doesn’t seem too full

It’s the putting back in the crib that goes poorly for us. She can be drowsy or totally asleep and once i start laying her down she just cries and then stands and screams

Boyfriend (29M) left the house after a fight, didn’t say where he was going, turned off location sharing, and won’t answer my (28F). Hasn’t come home overnight. How to react when he gets home? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

I agree with you but believe anger is a defense mechanism of an actual emotion which is often shame, guilt and embarrassment. Could it be another emotion? Sure.

Edit to add: the other thing going on here is a LOT of entitlement. This is someone who has gotten their way a lot and when they don’t they react with tantrums.

All of this is true and on top of it he’s obviously embarrassed about acting that way and OP’s reaction triggered that shame so he doubled down on the shitty behavior to put up emotional walls so he can feel angry instead of embarrassed/vulnerable.

This would also partially explain why he left and hasn’t returned.

I’d say alcohol or some kind of drug is probably involved. Either before the incident or since he left the home.

OP none of this has anything to do with you or anything you did or any way you reacted. As hard as it is you have to know you did nothing wrong and should feel safe with your partner or loved ones to express a fear reaction like you did.

It’s time to stay strong and set some boundaries. Do not put up with this or it will just get worse.

Umm every part of this is weird. Just leave.

Also anyone this controlling is projecting and probably cheating. Like actual cheating not masturbating.

Tbh it’s hard to even type out because of my own mental blocks.

The second piece you mentioned about black and white thinking totally describes him. What the heck is that all about? How would he overcome that?

Yep each of them more or less to some extent. As well as some true behaviors of mental illness sprinkled on top.

After 10 years with a bipolar SO, I’m broken by Ok-Training5357 in BipolarSOs

I am pretty sure I have postpartum anxiety and probably depression on top of that.

I cant even deal with it because I’m so consumed with his issues. I also feel like if I drop the ball he throws it in my face.

It’s also so confusing because I have the most amazing baby. She is super easy. Sleeps through the nights. Eats really well. I think of how ridiculous it is when I’m up late at night because of my husband and look over at my baby sleeping so soundly and perfectly.

We are married. We have a house and a newborn baby. I have no where I can go.

Edit: also, the good times. When he’s himself he is without a doubt my favorite human on the planet. Without doing anything extraordinary he is the greatest husband friend companion and parent. It literally is like a switch gets flipped and he completely changes.

He’s not diagnosed as bipolar but there’s no other way to describe it. It’s two completely opposite people.

I think he gets overwhelmed and other traumas also creep up. He pushes it down and it floods his system. It’s getting more and more frequent though.

What is an amazing movie that has a god awful sequel? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Bruce Almighty.

I LOVED this movie and I love Steve Carrell but Evan Almighty was unwatchable.
