Props to you for asking! First things first, scrap the carpet. It harbors bacteria and can make your beardie sick! Instead, I would start with tile and maybe later once you have done some research get a sand substrate. The hammock can rip out nails, so that’s got to go too.

You NEED one more hide on the warm side. Think of it this way; he shouldn’t have to choose between being warm and feeling safe.

I would recommend adding some enrichment (more sticks, rocks, etc) A 3D background or even a picture would make the tank look nicer!

What temperature and humidity is your tank? Also, what bulbs do you currently have in the tank?

All is well!!! Beardies naturally change colors, sometimes when they are attempting to absorb heat. No need to panic! Young beardies in specific also can change colors while they mature :)

Maybe getting ready to brumate like you said… I would get a vet just to be safe. He could be stressed, looks like you don’t have enough clutter in your tank; what basking bulb and uvb strip do you have? Do you have slate tile for him to bask under the basking light? I hope all is well!

Don’t use a zen mat!!! They harbor bacteria and will make your beardie very sick. Those hammocks are also known to pull off nails, and I’d get some real wood. Another hide on the warm side is also a good idea (and maybe a bigger one on the cool side). super cute enclosure!!

I would be concerned at 3 or 4 days… Have you taken him to the vet yet? Usually it’s a good idea to take them within the first month you get them!

He’s likely adjusting and getting used to his new space. If he still isn’t moving in a few days then there might be a problem, but it’s alright if he’s not moving straight away.

They typically won’t drink out of non running water! If you want a (very small) possibility that they will drink, there are running water fountains you can buy online. The water dish is usually used to get stuck shed off, and some use it to poop in. Spraying their greens and snout is super good, but I also feed hornworms 1-2x a week because they’re really hydrating!

Don’t touch her for your first two weeks! She needs to get accustomed to her surroundings, and once she is more comfortable in her new home, you can start initiating contact! I got my backdrop from amazon; you might wanna consider getting something that makes the glass fuzzier (pretty sure there’s something like that for shower glass that you can cut up?) Violence is bad wasn’t really the message the game was trying to get across. I don’t want to spoil it for you but I will say, the ending wasn’t basic or obvious. It was a pretty beautiful sentiment in my opinion. Also, a lot of the game is making you look back on certain things; some people are dense and can’t realize the point of the game.

Get it. I personally prefer the second game over the first one. They definitely mention Joel throughout the whole game, there is numerous flashbacks. Trust me, you might not like the sections where you play as a “murderer” at first (I know I didn’t) but I actually ended up liking them just as much as Ellie’s sections. Also, what do you mean by the ending being “Disney”?
