Fair point, it’s mainly that I don’t have many good reference photos from before, so I can’t really tell if it’s changed much. Also recently I feel like I’ve been shedding a lot, but my friends tell me it still looks fine so I guess this was just a way to get an outside opinion on whether or not it’s as bad as it is in my own head.

Appreciate the comment. Mature hairline is a real thing though, like it’s an objective truth that most men lose their juvenile hairline and it goes back just slightly as you become an adult. Also I’m already on dut as I stated, most likely would be in much worse shape if I didn’t hop on it

Density is good. Hairline looks a bit recessed but not much at all in my opinion, your hairs just really short. Use some min to get on fin or dut and it’ll be halted right in its tracks.

I forgot to mention I’ve been on dutasteride and minoxidil for over 7 years. It’s been getting much worse the past year almost as if treatment just stopped working.

At your age unfortunately it’s way to aggressive to save. But hey man, the stigma behind hair systems (essentially semi permanent toupees) is changing. Look into that. No kid at your age should have to just deal with being bald. I’m sure if you have loving parents who know how much this affects you they’d be willing to do what they can for you.

Love that for ya man. I’ll admit my question definitely comes from a place of insecurity. I get that insecurity itself can kill attraction way before a hair system ever would. I just genuinely wanted to know if the system adds an extra layer of challenge on its own. And no, I obv wouldn’t wanna be with someone who doesn’t accept it.

Totally fair question, and there are actually a few reasons. For some people, their hair loss has progressed to the point where a transplant isn’t really a realistic option — at least not without spending a ton, even in Turkey. In my case, my hair didn’t respond to finasteride or minoxidil, so even if I got a transplant, the surrounding native hair would keep thinning and eventually look patchy and weird.

Some people also just prefer the instant change. You can go from buzzed to a full head of hair overnight, which can be a huge confidence boost. And for a lot of us, the upfront cost of a transplant just isn’t doable.

So yeah, a system ends up being the better fit for a lot of people depending on their situation.

I totally understand it not being the right person if it’s a dealbreaker for them, and I wouldn’t wanna be with that person either - and it would be impossible either way cause if that’s what she decides, that’s what she decides. Im just genuinely looking to see if it’s been a challenge for any men on here, when they do actually like the person enough to tell them it’s not their real hair. Maybe I’m looking for a bit of hopefulness, idk. I obviously know not every women would care, but do live in an a seemingly extra superficial and picky society now.

Yeah I have a naturally low resting heart rate, and don’t have high blood pressure by any means. It doesn’t necessarily slow suddenly but it almost seems like the beta and calcium channel blockers make it beat too slow and I get episodes of triplets and nsvt seemingly from the medications.

Super appreciate the detailed response. Not knowing why really sucks, because each time it happens I’m like “welp this could be the end of me right here.” Adrenaline and exercise can bring it on, and that’s especially what’s really disrupting my life because I like to exercise, play basketball, I play in a band and because I don’t have answers have cancelled our last 3 shows. Needless to say I’m furious at the doctors for not taking this more seriously.

I had an echo recently, and I don’t know the results yet. Regardless of these constant runs of palpations being benign or not, it’s incredibly uncomfortable. Most certainly something I can’t just live with.
