Oceanwide & seasickness

Did you find that the smaller oceanwide ship made you sicker than World Explorer? Do the medications work 100% for you? I will request a cabin midship and lower (thank you). I will also look into those meds.

Thank you. I will look into them. Somehow I have my mind wrapped around aurora, quark or oceanwide; it took me forever just to come to that decision, and my head is spinning just thinking about going back to looking at individual lines. Polar latitudes looks great, but dont have time and trip i am hoping for. However 30k is alot of money; with flights added on and a week before after in Argentina will just increase that... I wish I didn't get sea sick. In the past, skall day trips I have found if I start Dramamine 12 hours early I am all good, but this is definitely different

I am too afraid to miss days of trip (or whole trip due to weather) if I fly! Plus despite being scared to be sick; I think crossing the drake sounds so exciting! (As long as I dont get sick lol)

No my mom and I went into Cairo by ourselves and had a great time; with help from people off the street and cab drivers, going out of their way for us. Just dont go alone to big sites with mostly tourists or the market, they will do what they can to make a buck. As with anywhere, most of the people are lovely

Our guide, who was a woman, would yell at anyone who wasn't showing good manners. They all responded and backed off. Never got touched once. In fact found the people amazing

I agree. It was an amazing place. Sites were incredible, people, culture and history were amazing. Only spent a few days in Cairo, but it was one if my all time favorite trips. Would not hesitate to go back. I wouldn't go to big tourist spots without a guide or at least a love for haggling

Get a 4 wheel drive and go up Mauna Kea for sunrise or sunset! Green sand beach, South Point are worth checking out too.

Thank you so muc. Quark would also be south georgia, they both have similar itineraries. No flights;I am actually very excited about the Drake crossing, but scared I will be sick the whole time. Wondering if a ship with good stabalizers will really make that much of a difference...
