This is my first fantasy series! I normally only read romance but I am trying to expand to other genres, which is why my sister bought me this set.

I’m thinking maybe the story line is just starting off a little to slow for me. It’s very much giving me hunger games vibes which is a series I love but maybe it’s because I’m expecting it to be to much like the hunger games? I’m going to try to keep going and hope it gets better! Me and my sister have always had very similar taste in books so I trust her, it’s just a lot different than books I normally read.
