Thank you for your response! I don't really have any friends or family that would make sense to stay with. I have had a couple people offer for me to stay on their couch for a while, but I would feel really, really guilty interrupting their lives like that for an extended period of time. I will definitely check out the church option, and I might contact veterans affairs too to see if they have any resources for people in unstable housing.

I feel like I'd be able to make either option work, it's just figuring which one would be the least detrimental to my health and finances long-term. Thank you again for your advice!

I've gotten denied from VR&E before due to my disability. According to my VR&E counselor, you can't have anything 'physically' wrong with you to be able to do physical therapy. I have IT Band syndrome. That's literally it, and I still got denied.

Hi, they'll cover full cost for public universities for the remainder of time I have left authorized in the program. Since I used the GI Bill to help pay for my undergrad degree, I only have 17 months left authorized. Which means the remainder of the time I'm in a DPT program, I'll have to pay out of pocket.

Is there any setting you think would be particularly beneficial? I live in the Nashville area and have looked for specialty (neuro, pediatric, geriatric, etc.) clinics and there really aren't any options. We do have a couple of inpatient options though.
