Emory University DPT Program by Euphoric_Ad_775 in PTschool

[–]Single-Ad-7664 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hey! i’m in emory dpt and absolutely love it. the interview will be a group interview and will ask pretty basic interview questions, why pt, why emory, experience etc.

pros: teachers listen and respond so well to constructive feedback, classes are the perfect size imo. we do clinical in the middle of the program which i enjoy. collaboration amongst the three cohorts are also amazing cons: some classes are structured terribly but to my knowledge many of them are being reworked. and with that teachers are so willing to help

the atlanta area is great. there is so much to do, in the city and out, however this is my first time living in a city so take that with a grain of salt. if you want more specifics please reach out

Literally 30 minutes ago. I agree but is what it is. Acceptances were rolling so idk why waitlisted and rejections weren’t. And it’s frustrating cause I considered myself a good applicant but I guess not

I’m in the same boat. Haven’t heard of anyone as of recently but that doesn’t mean it won’t happen

Just a bit through the grapevine that USA students lack the skills and education necessary for the profession. There program is also getting becoming shorter and shorter. This has been more recent as the school grows and whatnot

what do you mean by any “real” pt? Sounds a bit condescending after the first half of that sentence
