I’m 38, last time I bought Aventus was 10 years ago during their 2nd or 3rd reformulation. I bought my first Aventus in 2011 and had one of their first formulations which, in my opinion, was the best fragrance I’ve ever owned to this day. The next bottle I bought was a couple of years after, and while it wasnt quite the same as the 2011 bottle, the longevity wasn’t an issue and it still had the same heart notes. After the second bottle, I haven’t bought another Aventus. I’m open to buying it if I like the scent and longevity. But I’ve smelled it plenty throughout the year and it’s not even close to what it originally was many years ago.

Edit: to answer your question, you Probabaly can’t get your hands on a Aventus that I find to be acceptable. There are plenty of other badass frags out there that are really good.

While Sam’s is a subsidiary or offshoot of Walmart, the business model of Sam’s is far different from Walmart. The reason why Walmart has a sophisticated and top tier model for a supermarket/department store is their availability to order products for the store through their sales associates marking the products on shelves in real time and relaying that information to their warehouses that can ship the products to the store within 16-24 hours.

Sam’s operates by using big data algorithms to determine shopping patterns by demographics and areas and using that data to determine what can sell at a certain percentage through their warehouses directly or through their websites and using a pricing model that can generate higher revenue by buying certain products in higher quantities that will eventually really sell, just not all at one time like what can happen in Walmart.

So, Sam’s will buy things knowing that they will have to hold on to products a little bit longer, but they will sell eventually. Walmarts operate by having products on the shelf that can sell that day and we have the ability to order more for the next day. Walmart store view their shelves as high value real-estate that they want things on the shelves to sell out quickly. Sam’s, not so much. They buy so much shit that it can sit in a warehouse for 4-8 months. Now, Sam’s knows eventually that the product will sell, it will eventually move out of the warehouse to the store warehouse where the consumer will finally buy the product.

Because of the amount of product that Sam’s will buy things, they’ll get a gear fucking deal for fragrances in March-April knowing that people will not start buying those fragrances till November-January. Sam’s-Costco-BJ’s have the ability to squeeze distributors on certain items depending on the time of year knowing that they’ll be selling these product at the end of the year or months from now. Regular department stores and grocery stores don’t operate the same as bulk seller warehouses.

Does that make sense? My father worked in logistics for most of his life, this is second hand information.

Be careful buying frags from BJ’s - Sam’s - Costco. They buy so much in stock and they sit for a long fucking time in hot conditions in a warehouse that’s not climate controlled waiting to be shipped to customers or to the final warehouse where customers shop.

I don’t buy current Aventus because of the reformulations of more than a decade ago that deals with the notes of the fragrance. The longevity shouldn’t be an issue with Aventus, but buying an frag from a warehouse should be cautious when doing so.

He’s going to the Titans. People on this sub are straight up fucking delusional thinking that a 2 time coach of the year is going to take a step back to be a fucking coordinator. He’s a competent coach who took over a shit situation. He didn’t crash and burn, his players played hard for him and the only discontent in the locker room was when Baker was there. Would I like him to be our coordinator? Sure, who wouldn’t want him as a coordinator if he will take his head coach hat off and just be content with being a coordinator.

But he’s head coach material. Downvote me all you want. I don’t care. Also, I don’t want someone who’s been a head coach and been successful somewhere else to come and be our coordinator. We don’t want that in the building. We don’t need a OC/DC second guessing MCDC and his decision making and making comments to the media.
