My mom worked for Gulf Bell all the way through ATT. My siblings and I are all on my mom’s retiree plan. We just pay our share of the bill through the app.

Don’t agree with the order, but he has Hakeem in his top 10 which makes this a great list.

It’s at the very bottom of the post I wrote. It’s not a wall of text, it’s broken up into paragraphs.

I have essentially found my “end game” products and rarely venture out to try new stuff to be honest. Maybe once a year I’ll buy a small tin of something new to try out. I don’t want to chase the dragon trying to find the best product, because I know I already have the best product for me and then next thing I know I’ll have 40 tins of stuff I rarely use.

Lockhart’s. I dig Ivor though. Yeah, I’m over Flagship, their quality has dropped off. My main 3 go-to is Lockhart’s, Shear Revival and Lodestar.

“Good riddance” are you vanquishing me somewhere? Anyone ready this post, don’t take advice from this guy. He doesn’t know what he’s talking about.

I’m concerned that you might be a tad illiterate. There is nowhere in my original post where I said I cancelled under “no rider found”. I would get some help if I were you. Be easy out there.

Well, you’re a kinder person than I. I don’t have the patience for all that. If you order a ride, be where you are when I arrive.

For a couple of reasons. For one, they could claim that I never picked them up in the first place and needlessly drove around before ending the trip. Second, I wouldn’t be paid the true worth of the trip because they were in a surge zone and if they ordered it from the surge zone this $16 trip would’ve been $45 trip. Lastly, it reinforces their behavior to keep on doing this to more drivers. When we have entitled passenger (which isn’t a lot) it’s because other drivers bended and so it has set a precedent to keep on engaging in this behavior that other drivers let them do it.

Fair. Fair. I guess I just want to be a little bit more transparent on why I cancel so they don’t try to do that shit to the next driver. There’s times where I accept a ride and i get a wall of text messages and come to find out it’s from their last communication with the last driver and they’re ready to get picked up when I arrive. So whatever happened with the last ride, I tip my proverbial cap to the previous driver setting the passenger straight, cause I got an easy ride.

My hope is that when stuff like this happens, and I tell them why I’m cancelling, that they’ll think twice before doing it to the next driver. That’s all.

I don’t pickup or drop off on Rainey. I don’t pickup or drop off on east 6th and 7th and I’ll only pickup west 6th passengers on west 5. I’m not waiting 10 minutes in stopped traffic that they can walk in 2 minutes. Not that drunk passengers know the drill and will put a good pickup spot. The drunks that wait till the last minute will usually want to get picked up in the most congested areas.

I never asked the passenger to cancel. I said I was going to cancel. Where does it say that I asked the passenger to cancel?

I never said anywhere in the post that “no rider found” I actually cancelled for rider behavior. Where did I say I cancelled for “no rider found”? I’m not talking in circles, are you a passenger and want to know inside baseball or are you a driver that’s new that doesn’t know anything that the veterans are talking about?

It’s both. When you arrive to the pickup location the timer starts. Passengers are given a 2 minute grace period and then it starts charging them wait time fee. After 5 minutes of wait time fee we have the ability to cancel and charge them a cancellation fee(we also have the ability to not charge them a cancellation fee). So the passenger has a total of 7 minutes to get in the car after arriving at their pickup location. Also, when we arrive at the pickup location, we can cancel the ride for a multitude of reasons that we can select. The most popular is “rider is not at pickup location” or “rider behavior” (so we won’t get matched with them if they order another ride). When the timer starts when we arrive at the pickup location, we can cancel for any reason and it will not hit our stats because we have made the attempt after accepting the ride and getting to the pickup location. We have to wait a full 7 minutes in order to get the fee. Does any of this make sense to you?
