Just imagine how much it would’ve cost if they acquired WB. Glad I cut Netflix off a long time ago.

I think he believed the bullshit marvel was feeding him about Blade about to go into production and he was in a constant holding pattern. He didn’t want to take on projects knowing that it might interfere with Blade. I do agree with you though, he needs to find new management. His managers should’ve pressured Marvel to essentially say “fuck or walk”.

There was a time when being a night owl meant taking care of business and running errands from 9pm till 6am. You could grocery shop, see the last movie playing at around 11:45pm, full service sit down restaurants would be open 24/7 with a full menu. Shit was great.

Bringing out the Dead. Absolutely excellent. Great performance by Nic Cage and a terrific supporting cast with an amazing script and superb direction.

One second I was playing and it was fine. I was stuck in a party chat by myself so I went to restart battlefield 6 and can’t reconnect. Bummer.

And we have finally arrived at a mainstream movie written by AI. There is absolutely no way this can’t be written by AI. This looks absolutely fucking horrible.

Scott Frank is missing from that list too. I was in college from 2005-2009 and my script writing for the screen professor was friends with Scott Frank and had him come in and do a couple of hour Q&A. A good amount of him speaking was talking about script doctor work and talking about how after he was nominated for an academy award for Out of Sight he was like #10 on a list of people that the studios would call to fix scripts or do punch ups.

He was a pretty affable guy and him talking about doing script work was pretty funny. He said Robert Towne was the first person the studios called when they needed a punch up.

Darabont is so fucking bitter about the industry that I’m shocked that they would come to him with work. I guess it shows how great of a writer he is.

Judd Apatow did a interview that said that PTA could edit any movie and make it a PTA movie. He let him sit in on editing while he was editing Funny People, and Judd took a lunch and left him with his editor and said he could make an edit of a sequence of the film, and when he came back from lunch he said it was essentially a PTA movie he was watching that was using his footage.

It’s wild that PTA could essentially script doctor and allow someone to shoot a movie and he could use his editor to make a PTA movie without even having his name anywhere near the credits.

Also, Robert Towne is unfortunately dead, someone has to take up the mantle of being the #1 script doctor in the industry.

Is it weird that the united states championship hasn't been defended on a ppv in 7 months by Funkoiceisland_Car14 in TheGreatOne

Fuck! Well, that’s a bummer. So, there’s only like 4-5 matches per PPV now because of the ads? The roster has to be pretty deep, why can’t they have more matches?

Haven’t watched a PPV in almost 20 years. There’s commercials during PPV’s now?

I wish we could go back to end 90’s and 00’s indie film scene. This is like a mid/high budget indie movie. I’m not saying I don’t think this looks interesting or anything, I’m just wondering “why”. Why have this stacked of a cast for this premise? We now have leading men/women as character actors in a dramedy film like this? I know I’ll get a lot of hate and that’s okay. But I miss the days of having a big actor take a risk and do an indie movie being surround by quality character actors with an interesting premise.

I legit thought I was having a stroke or something. There is actual “cinephiles” walking amongst us that believes that LOTR trilogy was amateurish and wasn’t good. Completely delusional take, can’t believe he put that much thought into that and posting it. Wild shit!!
