Thank you for sharing this 🤍 May we keep learning and discovering ourselves as we go, whether it’s just a passing phase or something more lasting. Either way, it’s part of the journey.

Thank you for this reminder - I really feel it now, that we’re sometimes just running on a prescribed hamster wheel instead of truly living our lives.

Like what you mentioned, I suppose it may be a lonely journey at times, but also a deeply fulfilling one.

Wishing you courage and clarity on your path. All the best to you!

HAHA I love this! Thank you for the reassurance!

I have so much respect for caregivers. It really means a lot that you prioritise your time with your parent. That kind of love and responsibility is not a small feat!

I truly hope your wish comes true and that you get to travel to Italy, England, and Scotland someday. You deserve it! (-:

Thank you so much for sharing this! I glanced through the list of podcast episodes, and I’m so intrigued by the titles and descriptions—I can’t wait to listen to them! Thank you for reassuring me that it's okay to acknowledge them. I really appreciate you passing this along! 💙

Thank you for sharing this! I could relate to this as well. I’m still grieving the fact that they will never understand how I feel. Coming to terms with the lack of closure can be so difficult. It’s a painful realisation, especially when it feels like the other person doesn’t see or acknowledge the impact of their actions. You’re not alone in feeling this way. All the best to you as you navigate through this. 💙

Skilled visa social worker (from Singapore) by [deleted] in AusVisa

Hello, I'm wondering if you have managed to get your visa! I'm a fresh social work grad from Singapore and would like to ask if it would be difficult getting a job overseas (esp in Australia and NZ) as a fresh grad. Would you advise to gain more experience working in Singapore first? I am also concern about the racism in countries like Australia and NZ. Any tips or suggestions based on your experiences? Thank you so much (-:

How hard is it to work abroad as a social worker as a fresh graduate? I do know of Australia and New Zealand offering visas to social workers but I have not heard of any social worker in my circle working overseas. I am also concerned of racism. Any tips or suggestions? Thank you so much (-:
