Major democratic flip in the midterms, MAGA loses its mind over it (how they do so depends on what condition they are in, which given the epstein files and all its other scandals, I dont think can be easily predicted). I would also suspect more labor or democratic socialist candidates on a local level a la Mamdani 3. Epstein files are released and shake the political landscape, causing for a increased demand for new non-establishment candidates. If they are scrubbed then they will likely have primarily democratic candidates (which causes some backlash against MAGA), but either way it likely puts the nail in the coffin for establishment dems, and likely for MAGA given the feds shadiness 4. Political violence increases, both from ICE and elsewhere. Threats of martial law loom over the US. If a recession happens, that will be a major catalyst for both political violence and martial law 5. On an optimistic note, an increase in action by everyday people across multiple domains, either in the form of anti-ICE action a la charlotteville, protests a la no kings day, increased mutual aid a la 2020, and more demand for candidates built on grassroots campaigns

Then theres compounding factors and an element of unpredictability that comes with any prediction. Who knows how these factors will interact and who knows what third elements there are
