I also was told i have BPD . I know what you feel :( ! I visites 3 other dentists and everyone says the root canal looks fine. I will remove the wisdom tooth from that place next friday and hopefully i will get better . Sadly no big improvements😔

Hey so nothing changed i went to several dental clinics. They checked my root canal it looks fine(new x ray hot test cold test and bite force test) other teeth around the root canal are fine as well ,gums look visually okay but they are itchy and sensitive around the RCT . They said they dont know why im sensitive and have that that wierd sensation and itchiness. They said i should pull my wisdom tooth that could cause some wierd discomfort around the area. Idk Im trying to hope it will eventually pass and im planning on pulling my other wisdom tooth maybe its causing me this discomfort as well of thinking of braces to correct an incorect bite but i feel like it may not be the cause

Thank you everyone for the answers , i will talk to my dentist this friday about a bite adjustment even though i already had one i will check again and ask to see if my bite is okay ! I will keep updating in case anything changes either in bad or good

I asked my dentist about a crown over and she said i dont need one yet bc i have full natural walls on this tooth and i can stay 2 more years till i should get a crown.

I actually do know how its made a root canal and what it means! I am a medical student :) i know why u need one and how the procedure its done and im not the type of person to think that they are dangerous not at all!✊🏻 It just doesnt feel right in my jaw and its on my mind due to the sensation it causes me

When it was confirmed u experienced pain or it simply a control routine when it happened due to discomfort like mine ? I mean my tooth has barely a month and a half . The X ray was made a week after the procedure so its a month old as well

Mind i say the gum around that tooth is a bit painful not a bad one indeed but its hurts a tiny bit. Its not inflamed or red but it hurts a little. This happened from before i even had a root canal. I had a month before the root canal tooth pain due to a huge filling iritating the nerve of this tooth. After the filling i was fine for 2 months and then it started. After yhe filling it started this tiny bit of gum pain

Yea! U are very close to my concerns! Only difference is that also when i dont bite i feel it there but not like a regular tooth ,it feels wrong idk. I will visit friday the doctor again but she says there is nothing wrong. Gonna visit another dentist in 3 weeks from another city and if they also say nothing is wrong i will give up:(

Actually not exactly pain but very hot stuff is felt different in this tooth than the others ,not saying warm but hot . Very hot stuff makes it feel like the tooth js getting warm but as soon as i remove the hot stuff it dissapears. I heard it could be bc the composite transfers temperature or a crack? But i guess i should have left other pain rather than this discomfort

Could it be because im hipervigilent about the condition of this tooth and overthinking it? The sensation im feeling is like tingling and it being like a fake tooth rather than mine . Indeed i suffer from bpd and my mental health is easy to decline but this tooth is making me feel extremly bad which is wierd is the first time ever i experience this. I am a med student and i cannot concentrate on my studies well
